About RxTechPay

RxTechPay is an independent, anonymous project by pharmacy techs, for pharmacy techs. Pay transparency helps techs know their worth, and the database grows one anonymous report at a time.

How the numbers work

• We show the median hourly base pay (the middle value — less skewed by outliers than an average) and the low–high range.
• Any group (a state, employer, city, setting…) stays hidden until it has at least 3 reports, so nobody can work out an individual's pay.
• Reports outside $10–$80/hr are rejected, and reports are reviewed for spam.
• Numbers are self-reported and not verified. Use them as a guide, not a guarantee.

Privacy

• The pay form never asks for your name or email.
• We don't store IP addresses with reports. A temporary, hashed, in-memory counter limits submissions to stop spam and is discarded within an hour.
• No third-party trackers or analytics cookies.
• Newsletter emails are stored in a separate table and are never linked to pay reports. We don't sell them.
• Don't put names or identifying details in comments; we remove them if we see them.
